These eleven photographers came together in a workshop, guided by Dave Hempenstall, to explore the potential of the photographic book. Over ten months, they investigated different forms, discussed significant historical and contemporary works, experimented with making and the materiality of the photobook and refined their author’s voice to make the books exhibited here. The wonderfully diverse approaches and final forms are a testament to their dedication to the process.
