Featuring eleven emerging or re-emerging contemporary photographers, VIEW2021 showcases some of the most exciting new artists working in the ACT and surrounding regions. Comprising a PhotoAccess award exhibition accompanied by a publication, VIEW2021 brings together works in analogue and digital photography, camera-less processes, photo-sculpture and interactive digital game media. Revealing the energy and spirit of south-eastern Australian contemporary photo-media, the featured artists explore themes including the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, the marginalisation of people of colour, the challenge of climate change and the meaning of the body.

Curation by Wouter Van de Voorde and Kirsten Wehner.
