Re-Generations

Extended online dates due to early closure of our physical premises.

Curated by Hilary Wardhaugh, featuring artists Elise Searson, Helga Salwe, Tricia King, Tamara Whyte and Suellen Cook

-

Drawing together five female artist photographers from around Australia, Re-Generations investigates experiences of personal growth, self-making and metamorphosis. Exposing inheritances of trauma, the possibilities of family and the legacies of inter-generational memory, the exhibition presents a nuanced look at the possibilities of female lives today.

Curated by Hilary Wardhaugh in collaboration with PhotoAccess, Re-Generations presents artists Elise Searson, Helga Salwe, Tricia King, Tamara Whyte and Suellen Cook. The artists were selected from the 2019 Loud and Luminous finalists to receive an award stipend to produce new work for Re-Generations.

The exhibition was formally opened by Dr. Pia Rowe, research fellow at the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation and academic editor at BroadAgenda, University of Canberra.
